Independent Reading Book

In my independent reading book, I learned that my main character, Greg heffely is living a rough life .  his "best friend" Rowley, is no longer his friend. but he growed and is now in puberty. Greg wishes he could be like rowley, that he is starting to expirence the first signs of becoming a man. Greg has not even hit his growth spurt yet. But he talked with his parents about this. and they told him they entered puberty at a very late age. This got greg a little depressed. But hes also happy because since rowley is going through pueberty, he has to hide his face from people. but rowley is  not jealous. he shows his pimple in front of everybody at school. because he thinks people like it. But when he finds out that no one likes it, well he will just have to learn the hard way.
